Holidays!

Just an FYI for you all...

I'm now officially on holidays for 2 weeks!! YAY!!!!

Though I've a tonne of marking to do - which hopefully will be done tonight or Monday. But I'm on holidays!

I'm off to a high tea tomorrow for a Miss Showgirl contestant, they're basically just raising money for her or something, not really sure. Then Church on Sunday and on Monday I'm going to sleep in and have a movie and marking day with Jess. So this weekend is looking pretty nice. I'm heading to airport on Tuesday and will be in Brisbane from then on, getting haircuts and chiropractic care! :)

I've had two little visitors in my classroom this week in the form of green frogs. I've no idea why they feel the need to jump in my room, never Jess's or anyone elses... Anyway, the children get rid of them for me!

Today, the Easter Bunny came to Year 2, he came in through the night and left footprints on the carpet and a note on the board (along with the Easter eggs in their baskets!). I locked the door this morning so no one could go in and they were beside themselves with excitement! One almost wet himself he was so excited that the Easter Bunny had been! It's times like these that they can be really cute! Also, another story from school, I was on playground duty yesterday and I walked over to this big tree we have in the middle of our oval. I thought that one of my kids had fallen because I could hear two others asking him whether he could walk (so naturally I walked as slow as possible towards the situation!). I get there and ask if he's alright and he turns and he is laughing! I ask what they're playing and one of the other boys (3 of them all together) said they were playing '2 dads and a baby!' How precious and cute is that? And also four of my other boys were catching butterflies! Then I had 3 boys digging to treasure they had 'found' under an x in the dirt! They were very cute yesterday apparently!

Anyway, I think that's all I've got to say... I'M ON HOLIDAYS!!!
